Büyükçekmece Bucağı

Büyükçekmece, historically Athyras is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 173 km2, and its population is 277,181. It is on the Sea of Marmara coast of the European side, west of the city.

The Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Mosque, also known as the Köprübaşı Mosque, is the ruin of a 16th-century Ottoman mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. The ruin is situated in Büyükçekmece which is now a district of Istanbul, but would have been in the countryside at the time the mosque was built.

Endem TV Tower is a TV tower in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between 1998 and 2008, and has a now-closed revolving restaurant 154 m above ground, as well as an observation deck at 160 m. TV tower Endem is situated 3½ km east of Büyükçekmece Bucağı.

Beylikdüzü is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 39 km2, and its population is 415,290. It is on the European side of Istanbul, located north of the Sea of Marmara, south of Esenyurt, east of Büyükçekmece, and west of Avcılar. Beylikduzu is situated 5 km east of Büyükçekmece Bucağı.
