Sopot is a Bulgarian town situated in the fertile sub-Balkan Karlovo Valley, which is the western part of the famous Rose Valley, immediately below the steep southern slopes of the Troyan Balkan Mountains. Sopot is situated 4½ km south of Golyam Kupen.
