Royal Kurgan

The Royal Kurgan or Tsarskyi Kurgan from the 4th century BC, is one of the most impressive tumuli of the eastern Crimea. The burial barrow is located at Kul-Oba in present-day Kerch, which developed out of the ancient Greek town of Pantikapaion founded by Miletus.

Pantikapaion was an ancient Greek city on the eastern shore of Crimea, which the Greeks called Taurica. The city lay on the western side of the Cimmerian Bosporus, and was founded by Milesians in the late 7th or early 6th century BC, on a hill later named Mount Mithridat. Panticapaeum (6c B.C. - 3c A.D.) is situated 3½ km west of Novo-Karantinnaya Slobodka.

The Lapidarium is a lapidarium in Kerch, Crimea. It has a collection of samples of ancient art, containing items found during the excavation of the ancient Bosporan kingdom and other finds discovered on the territory of the Kerch peninsula.

Yehorove is a village in Lenine Raion, Crimea. According to the 2001 Ukrainian census, the native languages of the inhabitants of the village were 89.29% Russian, 8.93% Ukrainian, and 1.79% Belarusian. Yehorove is situated 3½ km northwest of Novo-Karantinnaya Slobodka.
