Castell Meredydd, also called Castell Machen, was a castle in Gwynllwg, Wales in the 13th century, long since ruined.

Plas Machen is a country house in the hamlet of Lower Machen, to the west of the city of Newport, Wales. The house was the ancestral home of the Morgan family of South Wales prior to their construction of Tredegar House.
