Chipping

Chipping is a hamlet and former market town in the civil parish of in the East Hertfordshire district of , England. Situated along the A10 road, which follows the course of the Roman Ermine Street, Chipping was an early attempt at a planted town designed to support the establishment of a market at the crossing of the and Ermine Street.
