Trevarno is a private country estate in south-west Cornwall, England, UK, near the village of Crowntown, 2 miles north-east of Helston. First developed in the 13th century, the estate was owned by a succession of families until 1994 when it was sold for development as a tourist attraction based around its extensive gardens.

Truthall Halt on the Helston branch was opened on 3 July 1905. The small station, which was located just above the 300 feet contour, served the villages of Trannack and Gwavas, and also Truthall Manor.

Wheal Fortune or Great Wheal Fortune is the site of a mine in the civil parishes of Breage and Sithney in west Cornwall. Part of the disused mine was designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its geological interest in 1991 and is also a Geological Conservation Review site of national importance for the minerals on the site.
