Ar-Ruʼays, also spelled Al Ruwais, is a port town in the Qatari municipality of Al Shamal. It is located on the northern tip of Qatar, approximately 127 km north of the capital Doha. Ar-Ruʼays is situated 9 km northwest of Wādī al Jāhilīyah.
