It has been a Provincial-Level Protected Cultural Relic of Sichuan Province since 2002, and a Nationally Protected Key Cultural Site of China since 2006. Fuhu Temple is situated 2 km east of Fuhu Temple.

Baoguo Temple is a Buddhist temple located on Mount Emei, in Emeishan City, Sichuan, China. It is the site of the Buddhist Association of Mount Emei. The temple mainly enshrines Buddhist Bodhisattvas as well as sages of Confucianism and deities of Taoism, which makes it a unique temple of three spiritual traditions. Baoguo Temple is situated 3 km northeast of Fuhu Temple.
