Mianyang is the second largest prefecture-level city of Sichuan province in Southwestern China. It borders Nanchong City to the east, Suining City to the south, Deyang City to the southwest, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture to the west, Gansu Province to the north, and Guangyuan City to the northeast.

Zigong is a city in East Sichuan. It used to make its fortune from salt production, but now is better known as a destination that caters primarily to Chinese tourists who come to see its large dinosaur museum, and of course, its salt museum.
Leshan

Leshan is a city in Sichuan Province. Sitting on the confluence of the Dadu, Mín and Qingyi rivers it is most famous for its huge riverside cliff-carving of Buddha and nearby Mount Emei; which together are a World Heritage Site.

Neijiang also known as the “Sweet City”, is a prefecture-level city in East Sichuan, between Chengdu and Chongqing. Neijiang is known for its long history and cultural heritage, with attractions such as the Longchang Ancient Archways, Xilin Temple, Chonglong Mountain cliff carvings, and the Weiyuan dome landform.

Beichuan is a county in Sichuan. Beichuan was located very close to the epicenter of the Sichuan Earthquake on May 12, 2008. The county suffered extreme damage in the earthquake.
