The Académie de la Grande Chaumière is an art school in the Montparnasse district of Paris, France. The impeding closure of the school in July 2025 received major criticsm from art heritage groups. Académie de la Grande Chaumière is situated 220 metres northwest of Boulevard du Montparnasse.

Mines Paris – PSL is situated 670 metres northeast of Boulevard du Montparnasse.

Montparnasse is an area in the south of Paris, France, on the left bank of the river Seine, centred at the crossroads of the Boulevard du Montparnasse and the Rue de Rennes, between the Rue de Rennes and boulevard Raspail.
