The Shiraz Metro is the rapid transit system in Shiraz, Fars, Iran, operated by Shiraz Urban Railway Organization. Construction began in 2001, and service in the first line officially commenced on 11 October 2014.

Nemazee Hospital, also known as Shiraz University Hospital, is a prominent hospital in Namazi Square, Shiraz, Iran. It was founded by Mohammad Nemazee in 1950. Mohammad Nemazee founded this hospital with 22 residential villas for physicians in 1950. Nemazee Hospital is situated 310 metres west of Meydān-e Jomhūrī-ye Eslāmī.
