Moel-yr-hydd

Moel-yr-hydd is a subsidiary summit of in , and forms part of the Moelwynion. The mountain overlooks the village of and from where the mountain can easily be ascended.

Quarry
was a slate quarry near the village of , Blaenau Festiniog, . It was worked intermittently from the 1830s, and was worked continuously from c.1850 until 1946.

Archaeological site
was a slate quarry in the Moelwyn mountains, northeast of in . Small-scale working of the site began in the 1830s, but was hampered by the remote location, and the lack of a transport system to carry the slates to markets.

Railway station
is a passenger station on the narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway The line was built in 1836 to carry dressed slate from to for export by sea but official passenger services began in 1865.
