Kanchipuram railway station is an NSG–4 category Indian railway station in Chennai railway division of Southern Railway zone. It serves as the principal railway station of the temple city of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. Kanchipuram railway station is situated 3½ km south of Kancheepuram.

The Kumara kottam Temple is a Hindu temple in Kānchipuram, Tamil Nādu, India. It is dedicated to Lord murugan, the Hindu war god and the son of the gods Shiva and his mother Pārvathi. Kumarakottam Temple is situated 4 km south of Kancheepuram.

The Kamakshi Amman Temple, also known as Kamakoti Nayaki Kovil, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kamakshi, one of the highest form of Parvati. Kamakshi Amman Temple is situated 4½ km south of Kancheepuram.
