Amaravathi or Amaravati is a village located on the banks of the Krishna River in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It was built by zamindar Vasireddy Venkatadri Nayudu in late 18th century on the site of the ancient Saatavahana capital Dhanyakataka. Amaravathi is situated 5 km northwest of Amaravathi.
