Spaceport

The Vostochny Cosmodrome is a Russian space launch facility in the Amur Oblast, located above the 51st parallel north in the Russian Far East. It was built to help reduce Russia’s reliance on the Baikonur Cosmodrome which is located on land the Russian government leases from Kazakhstan.

The Vostochny Cosmodrome Site-1A is a launch complex at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast, Russia. It consist of a single pad for use by Angara rockets.

The Vostochny Cosmodrome Site 1S is a launch complex at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia. It consists of a single pad for use by the Soyuz-2 launch vehicles. Vostochny Cosmodrome Site 1S is situated 3½ km northwest of Eastern Spaceport.
