Kuusa, also known as Kuusaa, is a village in Laukaa, Finland, located 6 km north of the municipal administrative center. The village is centered around the Kuusaankoski rapids between the lakes Vatianjärvi and Saraavesi and the Kuusa lock of the Keitele Canal. Kuusa is situated 5 km south of Haapala.

Suolahti is a former town and municipality of Finland. It is located next to Lake Keitele in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. Suolahti was merged into Äänekoski together with Sumiainen in 2007. Suolahti is situated 9 km northwest of Haapala.
