Besishahar is a municipality and the district headquarters of Lamjung District in Gandaki Province, Nepal. The Besishahar Municipality was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees i.e. Besishahar is situated 4½ km east of Suli̇̄koṭ Ḍā̃ḍā.
