Missunde is a village on the Schlei coast of Schwansen in Southern Schleswig in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, about 7 miles from Schleswig. It is part of the municipality Kosel.

Kosel is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany; it took its present form in 1977 when the formerly independent municipality of Bohnert was merged into Kosel, and today includes the villages Hülsen, Lundshof, Missunde, Ornum, and Weseby. Kosel is situated 3 km southeast of Missunder Enge.
