The Basarabi-Murfatlar Cave Complex is a medieval Christian monastery near the town of Murfatlar, Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. The complex is a relict from a widespread monastic phenomenon in 10th century Bulgaria.

Trajan’s Wall

Trajan's Wall is the name used for several linear earthen fortifications found across Eastern Europe, Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine. Contrary to the name and popular belief, evidence shows the ramparts were likely not built under the reign of Trajan, but later, in the period of Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages. Trajan’s Wall is situated 3½ km northeast of Siminoc.

Murfatlar is a town in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. It officially became a town in 1989, as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program.
