The Anglican Church of St Andrew, Northover, in Ilchester, Somerset, England, dates from the 14th and 15th centuries. Today it is part of the parish of Ilchester with Northover, one of the three parishes which constitute the Ilchester District Churches.

Lindinis or Lendiniae was a small walled town in the Roman province of Britannia Superior. The settlement developed around an early Roman fort. When the Roman military abandoned the fort in the first century CE, it became an urbanised area within the territory of the Durotriges tribe.

Originally a Roman town, and later a market town, Ilchester has a rich medieval history and was a notable settlement in the county; around the 12th and 13th centuries it was effectively the county town.
