Serbian Orthodox Cathedral

The Ascension Cathedral, commonly known as the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, is the cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Timișoara. Located in the Union Square of Cetate district, the building is one of the three Serbian Orthodox churches in the city together with the St. George Church in Fabric district and the St. Nicholas Church in the Avram Iancu Square of Mehala district. Serbian Orthodox Cathedral is situated 210 metres northeast of Cetate Synagogue.

Liberty Square, formerly known as Parade Square or Prince Eugene Square, is an urban square in Timișoara. It is the second-oldest square of the former fortress of Timișoara. Liberty Square is situated 120 metres southeast of Cetate Synagogue.

The Misericordia Church, also known as the Cetate Greek Catholic Church, is a Romanian Greek Catholic church located in Timișoara's 700 Square. Dedicated to Saint Joseph, the church belonged to the Brothers Hospitallers of Saint John of God and was built between 1748 and 1753. Misericordia Church, Timișoara is situated 140 metres southwest of Cetate Synagogue.
