The Cetate Synagogue is a Neolog Jewish congregation and synagogue, located on Mărășești Street in the Cetate district of Timișoara, in Timiș County, Romania. Cetate Synagogue is situated 120 metres northwest of Liberty Square.

The Palace of Culture is an emblematic building in Timișoara, Romania. It hosts a number of cultural institutions, including the Romanian National Opera, the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, the Csiky Gergely Hungarian State Theatre and the German State Theatre. Timișoara Palace of Culture is situated 160 metres southwest of Liberty Square.

The Ascension Cathedral, commonly known as the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, is the cathedral of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Timișoara. Located in the Union Square of Cetate district, the building is one of the three Serbian Orthodox churches in the city together with the St. Serbian Orthodox Cathedral is situated 270 metres north of Liberty Square.
