Monte Albán

Monte Albán is a Zapotec and Mixtec archaeological site in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico, on a hilltop overlooking Oaxaca city. This ancient city was the socio-political and economic center of the Zapotecs for nearly 1,000 years, a contemporary of Teotihuacán in central Mexico. Monte Albán is situated 3½ km northwest of Jardines de la Ciénega.

The Oaxaca Mexico Temple is the 74th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is located in Oaxaca, and is the fifth in Mexico. Oaxaca Mexico Temple is situated 4 km northeast of Jardines de la Ciénega.

Cuilapan de Guerrero is a town and municipality located in the central valley region of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. It is 10 kilometres to the south of the capital city of Oaxaca on the road leading to Villa de Zaachila, and is in the Centro District in the Valles Centrales region. Cuilapan de Guerrero is situated 4½ km southwest of Jardines de la Ciénega.
