Leticia is a city in the Amazonas department of Colombia. It is part of a contiguous settlement that includes Tabatinga in Brazil. On a nearby island in the river is Santa Rosa, which is part of Peru.

Puerto Nariño

Puerto Nariño is the second municipality of the Amazonas department of Colombia, located on the shore of the Amazon River. Puerto Nariño coves an area of 1,876 km2.
Villagarzón

Villagarzón, or Villa Garzón, is a town of 11,000 people in Putumayo Department. It is known as the "Heart of Putumayo" for having a rich range of biodiversity.
San Miguel

San Vicente del Caguán

San Vicente del Caguán is in Caquetá. The former FARC capital of El Caguán DMZ, it isn't a tourist attraction, but does make for a convenient stop over when en route to or from La Macarena.
