Eeyou Istchee James Bay is a local municipality in the Jamésie in administrative region of Nord-du-Québec. Chibougamau

Chibougamau, population 7500, is the largest regional centre in Northern Quebec. It was founded as a mining village in 1950, and was incorporated as a municipality in 1954.
Wemindji
Wemindji is a village of about 1400 people in Quebec on James Bay, which is the southern part of Hudson Bay. Wemindji is part of the Cree Aboriginal nation.
