Baddeck

Baddeck is a pleasant little village of 800 people on the shore of Bras d'Or Lake in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. It's a popular spot for boating in the summer and its central location makes it convenient as a base for exploring the island.
Cape Breton Highlands National Park

Cape Breton Highlands National Park is the second largest Canadian national park in Atlantic Canada and the largest in the Maritime provinces. It covers 948 km² on the island of Cape Breton in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia.

North Sydney

North Sydney is a community of 5,700 people on the eastern shore of Cape Breton Island on the north shore of Sydney Harbour. It is mostly a service centre for the ferry traffic to Newfoundland with a number of restaurants and motels.

Chéticamp

Chéticamp is a village of 4,000 people on the coast of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Its blend of natural beauty and Acadian culture makes it an interesting place to spend some time in and it also serves as the western entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Port Hawkesbury is a town of 3,200 people on the southwestern end of Cape Breton Island, on the north shore of the Strait of Canso. Port Hastings is an unincorporated community about 7 km up Highway 104 from Port Hawkesbury.
