Portbou is a railway station serving Portbou in Catalonia, Spain. It is on the Barcelona–Cerbère railway and the Narbonne–Portbou railway. The station is owned by Adif and is served by Rodalies de Catalunya regional line R11 and Girona commuter rail service line RG1 and TER Occitanie trains also serve the station.

Portbou is a town in the Alt Empordà county, in the Province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It has a population of 1082 people. Portbou is located near the French border in the Costa Brava region, and frequently serves as a dropping off point for SNCF trains coming from Cerbère in France.

Cerbère is a town of 1,400 people in Pyrénées-Orientales in France. Cerbère is an important centre for tourism, often linked with undersea diving. For rail travellers on the regional route between France and Spain, Cerbère is important because almost all trains end or start here or in the neighbouring Spanish border station Portbou.
