Outer Dhaka

The outer suburbs of are a large semi-rural and industrial area in the north and east of the capital. Uttara, in the north, is home to the major entry point for most visitors to the country, Shahjalal International Airport.

is a multidisciplinary super-specialty tertiary-care hospital in , and part of Evercare Group. It was previously called Apollo Hospital Dhaka.

School
is an International Baccalaureate World School in , Bangladesh that was established in 1999. The school enrolls students in the age range of 2–18, from Playgroup through to Grade 12, providing an international education for local and expatriate children living in Bangladesh.
