Gangtok is a bustling, friendly hill station, and the capital of the Himalayan state of Sikkim. The name Gangtok is derived from the Tibetan word for 'hillside,' and the city has a population of around 100,000 being a mixture of indigenous Sikkimese and people of Nepalese and Tibetan ancestry.
Aritar
Aritar a region in East Sikkim of India under Rongli Sub-Division, is known for its natural and landscaped beauty. It is on the edge of the Himalayas, and can be reached in about four hours' drive from Gangtok via either Pakyong or Rangpo.Places of Interest
