Elassona

Elassona is is a small town in in northern Thessaly, at the foothills of the southern slopes of Mount Olympus. It acts as a quiet regional centre for surrounding farming and pastoral communities, and is best known as a gateway to the monasteries and hiking routes of the Olympus range.
