Folkestone Central railway station is on the South Eastern Main Line in England, and is the main station serving the town of Folkestone, Kent. It is 69 miles 73 chains down the line from London Charing Cross. All trains that call are operated by Southeastern.

Hawkinge is a town and civil parish in the Folkestone and Hythe district of Kent, England. The original village of Hawkinge is actually just less than a mile due east of the present village centre; the village of Hawkinge was formed by the merging of Hawkinge and Uphill. Hawkinge is situated 2½ miles north of Folkestone.
