Gandzak is a village in the Gavar Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The village is located on the eastern side of the Gavar river, 3 km southwest from the regional center Gavar, at an average height of 1,980 meters above sea level. Gandzak is situated 3½ km southwest of Gavar.

Noratus is a village in the Gavar Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, near the town of Gavar. The village has a rich historical past, and is famous for the Noratus cemetery, the largest surviving cemetery in the world featuring khachkars. Noratus is situated 5 km northeast of Gavar.
