Charterhouse is a public school in Godalming, , England. Founded by Thomas Sutton in 1611 on the site of the old Carthusian monastery in , , London, it educates over 1000 pupils, aged 13 to 18 years.

opened in 1897 as a minor stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line between Guildford and , England. It is said to have been built at the instigation of General Sir Frederick Marshall, a director of the London and South Western Railway Company, who lived nearby at Broadwater.
