Gokayama
Gokayama is composed of two historic villages in Nanto City, Toyama, Japan. Together with the better-known Shirakawa-go in Gifu, they were registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites on December 9, 1995.Photo: Minque, Public domain.

The Ohara Dam is a gravity dam on the Shō River in Ohara village about 17 km south of Nanto in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. It was constructed between 1939 and 1942.
