is an island and a suburb of the Gold Coast, west of and is the Southern part of the two Stradbroke Islands. It's the longest and least crowded but also the most remote and inaccessable beach in the Gold Coast area.

is the central business district or business centre of the Gold Coast. Though it is the CBD of the Gold Coast, it is not as bustling as other places in the Gold Coast, and if you happen to be driving through it, there's a good chance you may not even realise you're in the CBD.

is a coastal suburb of the Gold Coast, just north of . While it isn't known that well as its southern neighbour, it is still a very popular upscale tourist spot known for its Sea World resort and its long beach.

Q1 Tower is a 322.5-metre supertall skyscraper in , Australia. The residential tower on the Gold Coast was the world's tallest residential building from 2005 to 2011.

Hospital
, is an acute medical, surgical and maternity hospital servicing the northern end of the Gold Coast. Pindara is the largest private hospital in the city, with 348 licensed beds, 17 operating theatres and a 24-hour emergency/ cardiac centre.
