Yuexiu is a central district in Guangzhou. The old walled city of Guangzhou was here, though it has been mostly redeveloped. Yuexiu is now the political and cultural center of Guangzhou, with many museums, holy sites, and urban parks.

Huaisheng Mosque

The Huaisheng Mosque is the main mosque of Guangzhou, located in the Yuexiu District, in the Guangdong Province of China. Rebuilt many times over its history, some historical texts claim that it was first built in the 7th century, but modern scholarship places its foundation at a later period during the Tang or Song dynasties.

The Yuexiushan Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, named after its location at the foot of Yuexiu Hill. It is currently mostly used for football matches and also sometimes for athletics.
