Horton Plains
Horton Plains National Park is in central Sri Lanka. It is a forested highland plateau area with the most extensive area of cloud forest in Sri Lanka. Horton Plains is one of a group of three highland parks listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as Central Highlands of Sri Lanka; the others are the Knuckles Mountain Range and the Peak Wilderness Protected Area.Photo: Cherubino, CC BY-SA 3.0.

Kirigalpoththa is the second-tallest mountain in Sri Lanka at 2,388 m above mean sea level, and is also the highest mountain in the country whose summit is accessible to the general public.

Gonmollikanda is regarded as the 13th highest mountain in Sri Lanka situated at 2,034 m above mean sea level. The mountain got its name from the native language of Sri Lanka, Sinhala as the peak of the mountain has a shape of hump of a bull.
