Kalimantan is the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo, the third largest island in the world. Nusantara, officially Ibu Kota Nusantara, lit. 'National Capital of Nusantara', is Indonesia's future capital, located near the city of Balikpapan on the eastern side of Kalimantan.
Banjarmasin
Banjarmasin is the biggest city in South Kalimantan. The city population was 625,395 at the 2010 census. Average temperatures vary from 24ºC to 32ºC. The weather is mostly hot and it still has rain even if it is hot season.
Samarinda
Samarinda is the capital of East Kalimantan, on the eastern part of the island of Borneo, 60 km from the Makassar Strait.Destinations to Discover

East Kalimantan is the northeastern part of Kalimantan in Indonesia. Administratively it consists of the provinces of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan.
South Kalimantan

South Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. It is the smallest in land area but the second most populous province on the island of Kalimantan, the Indonesian territory of the island of Borneo after West Kalimantan.

Central Kalimantan
Central Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. It is one of five provinces in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of Borneo. It is the largest province in Indonesia by area since 2022, bordered by West Kalimantan to the west, South Kalimantan and East Kalimantan to the east, Java Sea to the south and is separated narrowly from North Kalimantan and Malaysia by East Kalimantan's Mahakam Ulu Regency.
