Kannur, formerly known in English as Cannanore, is a city and municipal corporation in the state of Kerala, India. Kannur railway station is an NSG–2 category Indian railway station in Palakkad railway division of Southern Railway zone. It is the largest railway station serving the City of Kannur in Kerala.
