Shibam Kawkaban is a double town in Shibam Kawkaban District, Al Mahwit Governorate, Yemen, located 38 km west-northwest of Sanaa, the national capital.
Khalaqah
Village
Khalaqah is a village and corresponding 'uzlah in Hamdan District of Sanaa Governorate, Yemen. The 10th-century writer al-Hamdani mentioned it in his Sifat Jazirat al-Arab, but it is absent from most other medieval and early modern historical sources. Khalaqah is situated 3½ km east of Kawkaban.
