Archaeological site
, whose ruins, known as Khirbet el-Murassas in Arabic, have been excavated in the centre of the settlement and city of Ma'ale Adumim, was one of the most important centres of monastic life in the Judean Desert during the Byzantine period.

is a hesder yeshiva located in the Mitzpeh Nevo neighborhood of the Israeli settlement, Ma'ale Adumim. It was founded in 1977 by Haim Sabato and Yitzchak Sheilat, then two young rabbis from Yeshivat HaKotel, in Jerusalem.
