Teotihuacan

Teotihuacan, also known as the City of the Gods, was the largest city in Pre-Columbian America. It is now an archeological site 40 km northeast of Mexico City, home to some of the largest ancient pyramids in the world.

Pyramid of the Moon

The Pyramid of the Moon is the second-largest pyramid in Teotihuacan, after the Pyramid of the Sun, and located in modern-day San Martín de las Pirámides, Mexico. Pyramid of the Moon is situated 1¼ km southwest of Hotel el Centro.

Quetzalpapálotl

The Quetzalpapálotl complex are ruins located in Teotihuacán. The complex is best known for the Palace of Quetzalpapálotl and the stone reliefs in its courtyard. Quetzalpapálotl is situated 1½ km southwest of Hotel el Centro.

Otumba, officially referred to as Otumba de Gomez Farias, is a small town of fewer than 10,000 residents in rural Mexico State. Although the big city suburbs are steadily encroaching on the town, with a total population of 34,000 in 2010, it retains a rural character that is best exemplified by its love of animals, particularly the humble burro.
