Tour Maine-Montparnasse, also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre office skyscraper in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre Tour First in the La Défense business district west of Paris's city limits. Montparnasse Tower is situated 390 metres north of Gaîté.

Gare Montparnasse, officially Paris Montparnasse and formerly Gare de l'Ouest, is one of the seven large Paris railway termini, and is located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements. Gare Montparnasse is situated 300 metres northwest of Gaîté.

Gaîté is a station on Line 13 of the Paris Métro in the 14th arrondissement. The station is named after the nearby rue de la Gaîté, which was a country road connecting Clamart with the Barrière du Montparnasse, a gate in the Wall of the Farmers-General at the intersection of the Boulevard Edgar-Quinet and the rue du Montparnasse.
