Grays railway station is on the London, Tilbury and Southend line, serving the town of Grays, in Essex, England. It lies 19 miles 70 chains down the line from London Fenchurch Street, via Rainham; it is located at the junction where a branch line from Upminster via Ockendon rejoins the route from Rainham.

Grays, historically also known as Grays Thurrock, is the largest town and administrative headquarters of the borough of Thurrock, in Essex, England. The town is located on the north bank of the River Thames, approximately 20 miles east of central London, and two miles east of the M25 motorway.
