Villa Kujoyama is a multidisciplinary research and creative residency located on Mount Higashi in Kyoto. Kiyomizu-dera
Buddhist temple
Kiyomizu-dera is a Buddhist temple located in eastern Kyoto, Japan. It belongs to the Kita-Hosso sect of Japanese Buddhism and its honzon is a hibutsu statue of Jūichimen Kannon. Kiyomizu-dera is situated 1½ km southwest of Villa Kujoyama.

Nanzen-ji, or Zuiryusan Nanzen-ji, formerly Zenrin-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. Emperor Kameyama established it in 1291 on the site of his previous detached palace. Nanzen-ji is situated 740 metres north of Villa Kujoyama.
