Kiyomizu-dera is a Buddhist temple located in eastern Kyoto, Japan. It belongs to the Kita-Hosso sect of Japanese Buddhism and its honzon is a hibutsu statue of Jūichimen Kannon. Kiyomizu-dera is situated 1½ km southwest of Himukai daijingu.

Nanzen-ji, or Zuiryusan Nanzen-ji, formerly Zenrin-ji, is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. Emperor Kameyama established it in 1291 on the site of his previous detached palace. Nanzen-ji is situated 640 metres north of Himukai daijingu.

Built in 1992 by architect Katō Kunio, and initiated by the Société de rapprochement intellectuel franco-japonais, Villa Kujoyama is today one of the oldest and most prestigious French residency programs in Asia. Villa Kujoyama is situated 240 metres southwest of Himukai daijingu.
