Jervis Bay is a large protected bay in Shoalhaven 120 km south of Sydney and 20 km south of Nowra. It is home to HMAS Creswell, the Australian Navy's officer training facility.

It is the location of Point Perpendicular Light, a historic lighthouse which was active from 1889 to 1993, and a replacement skeletal tower which is active.
