Camerontown

Locality

Camerontown or Cameron Town was a British Army supply depot used during the Invasion of the Waikato during the New Zealand Wars in 1863, and later a small settlement.

Te Kohanga is a village and rural community in the Waikato District and Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island. The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "the nest" for Te Kōhanga. Te Kohanga is situated 5 km southwest of Onewhero.
