Shinku La mountain pass on Nimmu-Padum-Darcha road on the state boundary between Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, connects the Zanskar region of Ladakh with the Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh. Shinku La is situated 2½ km southwest of Pagya.
