Cadair Idris or Cader Idris is a mountain in the Meirionnydd area of Gwynedd, Wales. It lies at the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park near the town of Dolgellau.

Cyfrwy is a subsidiary summit of Cadair Idris in the Snowdonia National Park, in Gwynedd, northwest Wales. It lies to the west of Cadair Idris and is often climbed with Cadair Idris by taking the Pony Path.

Craig Cwm Amarch is a mountain in Gwynedd, Wales. It is at the head of Cwm Amarch on Cader Idris in the Snowdonia National Park. It has an elevation of 791.9 m and a prominence of 79.2 m, and is classed as a Simm, a Hewitt and a Nuttall.

Penmaenpool is a hamlet on the south side of the estuary of the River Mawddach in Wales, near Dolgellau. A Grade II listed toll bridge provides access across the estuary for light vehicles.
